Established in 1995, <SITE> Gallery was located in the Historic Exchange District of downtown Winnipeg until December 2005. On December 31, 2005 <SITE> Gallery permanently closed it's doors. After ten good, long years, a successful cooperative venture had run it's course.

<SITE> was a commercial gallery run cooperatively by it's member artists. <SITE> Gallery maintained a membership of around 30 artists during most of it's life. Over the years the gallery represented more than 70 of Manitoba’s most celebrated visual artists working in diverse styles in painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, printmaking, furniture, video, installation and digital media.

<SITE> had three exhibition spaces covering over 6000 sqare feet on the second floor of a Heritage warehouse building.

This web site will remain online in it's current form as a contact point for the artists through 2006. After that the site will relaunch, under new management with an entirely new format. Web site contents © <SITE> Gallery and the artists.
